Wicklow Sports Forum

    1. Wicklow Sports Forum: Wicklow Local Sports Partnership aims to promote participation, inclusion and coordination in sport at a local level. To support this work the Sports Forum has been established to represent all of the various sports clubs in the area. The Wicklow Sports Forum was established in 2009. Every sports club based in the county can nominate one individual to represent it on the Sports Forum where members tackle issues of mutual interest, discover methods of overcoming problems and identifying best practice. This group allows for better communication between clubs and acts as a coordinated voice for local level sports clubs in the county. The Wicklow Sports Forum meets quarterly. There are currently twenty-nine sports clubs represented on the Wicklow Sports Forum, with two Sports Forum members sitting on the Wicklow Local Sports Partnership Board of Management.
