Funding/Grants: Wicklow Local Sports Partnership operates two grant scheme’s which run every year. Categories are outlined below. Grant aid is available for sports club/organisations which have their central focus the promotion of sporting opportunities in County Wicklow.
Club Development Grant Scheme: As Wicklow Local Sports Partnership has an overall aim of increasing participation in sport and physical activity among all persons in County Wicklow, the Club Development Grant Scheme aims to encourage the setup of new clubs and to assist & support existing clubs. This Grant Scheme has an application process annually which is advertised in the local papers. National Lottery Funding: The Department of Health & Children has a National Lottery Discretionary fund in place which provides once - off grants to organisations, providing a range of health related activities.
